THE FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ULTRAWIDEBAND AND ULTRASHORT IMPULSE SIGNALS
The fourth International Conference “Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals” will be held in Sevastopol, the Crimea, Ukraine, September 15-19, 2008. The reports about previous meetings can be found in the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, December 2002, pp. 92-94, February 2005, pp. 193-196 and February 2007, pp. 134-138.
Suggested Topics. The Conference provides the international forum for discussing recent advances in ultrawideband and ultrashort impulse signals problems:
• Theoretical investigations, numerical simulations;
• Generation, radiation, and receiving;
• Electromagnetic compatibility;
• Electromagnetic metrology;
• Propagation and scattering in natural and artificial materials (complex media, radio absorbers, biomaterials, nanostructures, meta-materials etc.);
• Applications (communications, radar, GPR, medicine, etc.);
Young scientist program:
Special lectures for young scientist will be given by specialists well-known in UWB and EMC community.
Venue and location:
UWBUSIS'08 will be held at the National Technical University in
Sevastopol city, on the Crimea peninsula. Sevastopol is one of the most beautiful and famous cities in Ukraine and has an ancient and heroic history. The weather usually is fine in September and participants will have the opportunity to combine fruitful work with having pleasure at Black Sea beaches.

- Camera-ready paper submission will be sent by June 1, 2008;
- Acceptance notification will be sent by July 1, 2008;
- Pre-registration deadline: by July 15, 2008.
